This system is capable of achieving vacuum levels of 10-7 Torr with an appropriate vacuum system. The lower vacuum reduces sample surface contamination, such as water molecules, which can be particularly detrimental to IR spectroscopy.

The CS202-DMX-1SS is powered by our DE-202 series closed cycle cryocooler. This liquid helium-free cryostat uses a pneumatically driven Gifford-McMahon cycle to extract heat from the system.
